Economic analysis is required to determine damages, whether vocational or commercial, or to provide opinions as to the value of a business or asset. While each case entails unique assumptions and calculations, we utilize the same approach and methodologies whether retained by plaintiff or defense counsel. Other experts' opinions, e.g. vocational rehabilitation or life-care planning specialists, are occasionally required.

Litigation support entails assisting the retaining attorney, sometimes from before the case is filed, through to a final settlement or judgement. We can function as a non-testifying consultant or as a designated expert witness. Being retained early in the case allows us to provide advice as to retaining other experts, proposing questions for depositions of key witnesses and opposing experts, or in indentifying what documents or data should be sought during discovery.

Expert testimony requires an experienced and credible witness, whether in a deposition, mediation, arbitration or trial. The testifng expert's role is to present the trier of fact with an articulate and compelling presentation of the process and results of the expert's economic analysis.
